Rocks In My Dryer is posting a backwards Words for Me Wednesday today. The premise is that instead of stating what does work for you, you ask a question. Very interesting stuff if you have the time to peruse!
Shannon's question is about how to keep socks white. It appears by the comments that OxiClean is the top choice. I have been trying to soak white socks in hydrogen peroxide before washing. I haven't done it long enough to say it's the perfect solution, but it does seem to be working.
My dilemma also has to do with laundry, and that is cleaning the armpits of my husband's work shirts. I wonder if OxiClean is the solution there too. I'd love to find out if anyone else has solved this problem.

I asked the same question! Head over to heartreflections.wordpress.com to see some answers. It looks like the key ingredient is baking soda!
I find sun bleaching to be the easiest, cheapest way to bleach clothes. It's totally non-toxic and works GREAT!!! Sun bleaching can turn some whites yellow but I haven't had any problems.
Thanks for the comment!!
I think I read somewhere to scrub with vinegar and baking soda??? Can that be right? I do love oxy clean though!
